This was a great story, and it addressed a time in our history that we as Americans need to remember, so it never happens again. The art style was not for me, but the story itself was definitely worth a read.
There is quite a bit of information packed into a 150 pages of this graphic novel. Focusing mostly on the resistance through both protest and the courts, this is a very straight forward retelling of history. It's not an easy read, both by subject and also by the sheer amount of text in small frames. The two different art styles are vastly different, which at times felt jarring, also making reading difficult. But it is full of information that I didn't know about the internment before so I was invested.
