‘What you don't know about North Korea could fill a book', but evidently only a very small book!
When this book arrived in the post I was disappointed to find, at 34 pages (only about 18 of which actually have text on them), it was more of a pamphlet than a book. Having read it however, I am sort of glad I didn't need to persist for more than about 10 minutes with it.
In reality this is just a propaganda statement (not even loosely veiled as an essay) quoting publications to support the basic statements that begin each section of the book.
I guess this sort of ‘counter-propaganda' has it's place in what is not a balanced world media, but it doesn't make compelling reading.
