Database of citations to astronomical literature from the remote past to the middle of the year 2000. For the literature from 1969 onwards, ARIBIB is based on the information given in the printed bibliography Astronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts. For literature from 1899 until 1968, ARIBIB is based on the printed bibliography Astronomischer Jahresbericht. Literature before 1899 is based on various bibliographies. Unlike the Astronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts, abstracts are not included in ARIBIB.
