Whistlers

Decent effort is the word I would use. Having not read either of the series, this combination was interesting and pretty fast paced. I guess because there is a past here we don't delve too deeply into the characters but Mark does have a funny bone. Also the Zombies (If you can call them that) complement each other nicely setting up the upcoming books. Its still not good enough for me to move to the next book though.
