Cheryl brought the heat with plenty of twists and turns to go around in the second installment of the Eternal War series. She is still our wonderful yet totally messed up in the head heroine. She may even be a little crazier than in the first book. All the characters we've come to know and love are back so some have a bigger role than others. Even though we are talking about vampires it still felt plausible to me. I know that probably sounds silly, but that's how I feel. I'm so happy Westendarp didn't fall into the sophomore slump. I can not wait for the next in the series!
