This was a good book. There are a number of stories that kept me engaged and got me thinking. There is great information and advice on focusing on finding a way to serve others without suffering burnout or suffering from ‘compassion fatigue'. I agree that finding a way to serve our wounded neighbors according to our strengths, giftedness, and passion is a smart approach.
The idea of using Google's page ranking and linking algorithm didn't make a huge impression on me. I did appreciate the message that anyone and everyone within reach of the internet is a neighbor who may be in need.
The ebook comes with a number of video links. I didn't watch them as I was reading on an e-ink reader. Therefore I have nothing to say in regards to the multimedia parts of the book.
In the end, this book does a great job of helping a reader looking to show God's love to others.
