Will and the Valentine Saint

I like how understated and calm both these guys are. Will's a sweetheart that thinks he doesn't belong with his wacky extended family - but I think Hugh's the real scene stealer here. Hugh suffers from a stammer that crops up when he gets nervous and flustered (and especially when he has to speak in front of an audience) and has resigned himself to a lifetime alone because he has no idea how to date - or even kiss - a man. (And this book, much like Dee & Devon's other books, neatly sidesteps any and all talk about marrying women for convenience and/or duty.)

What I truly love about this story though is the fact that the boys talk. There is kissing and conversation and truth and honesty long before they tumble into bed together. (Or, in this case, against a desk, but you get the idea.) And, that's something I want more in my romances: less lust and need now and more true affection and trust.
