Dnf 34%. I had no interest in any of the characters and what happens next. I also didn???t like the mcs attitude.
dnf 44%. It wasn't awful, but at nearly halfway through there was no sign of any romance, and I didn't care for any of the characters or the outcome of the show.
Both characters had very similar narrative voices, so I frequently forgot whose chapter I was in, and I agree with all the other reviews that say despite being marketed as YA, this reads way more like an adult romance, and it would have made sense for the characters to be older.
3.5 ??????
It was a bit too meandering for me, and I didn???t like all the cultural references (especially regarding real people). There were some cute moments but I think the first few chapters were the best. I lost interest during the last chapters. Most other books would have ended it sooner.
The audiobook narration was excellent though, so if you have the option, I???d recommend that as the best way to read.
dnf 12% but that was enough to know I wouldn't like it. I stopped when Atlas said Lily's daughter was the best thing to ever happen to her. Just too sickly sweet for me.
Dnf at 10% then jumped to the end. This book had such a strange writing style. 1st person present tense but I???ve never felt so detached, possibly because there was hardly any dialogue.

It was an easy read, and I loved Leo. Unfortunately the rest (the disappointing lack of relationship building with her new sister and the unbelievable adoption storyline) failed to engage.
3.5 ??????
This book started off well, with a cast of likeable characters (something that I don???t see as frequently as I???d like). Unfortunately the main character had a bit off a personality flip and made out of character decisions all for the sake of drama. I feel like Liam deserved better (as did Van in a friend) but it was still an enjoyable read overall.
1.5 ?????? it was short and fast paced, but not well written and I found the storyline a bit too implausible
This was an okay, easy read. The first half felt a little drawn out but it picked up once our couple were left alone and could work out their issues (something they could easily have done a long time ago). Some of the dialogue felt off for teenagers and the lightning storm was unintentionally funny.
I was really disappointed that the main characters both had romantic (and sexual - reading between the lines this was unprotected at least once for Zorie) relationships with others during the time that they were apart, aged 16/17 and while they were both allegedly still hung up on each other! This wasn???t even addressed as an issue but I felt so bad for Lennon???s girlfriend who presumably didn???t know he was ???in love??? with someone else when she decided to sleep with him.
The characters were otherwise okay, but this aspect made them morally unlikeable to me and lessened the impact of their intimate scene. Plus, since it really didn???t add to the story, I wondered why they needed to have sexual histories at their ages other than to make the story more ???sex positive???
I also didn???t like that she used a telescope to spy on him getting undressed in his bedroom. If it was a boy doing this to a girl I feel that there would have been a lot more complaints.
2.5 ??????
This started off well but slowed down once the dating show started and the focus shifted away from the relationship between the main characters.
I usually love practice kisses in books, but the one in this book was ridiculous (she forgot how?) and was actually a practice make out so it was unbelievable they both thought it didn???t mean anything to the other person.
I ended up skimming the last 20% due to loss of interest, but it wasn???t bad and I???d be happy to try other books by this author.
One note: I saw another review say it was clean but there are some instances of bad language eg motherfking, bullst. No sexual content though.
Dnf 23% because I couldn???t get beyond the revelation of what happened in the past.
I hated Junie. Her actions were despicable. I???m guessing Graham forgives her but I don???t want to keep reading for that. He deserves so much better.

I struggled with the narrative style of this. The chapters are super long, and while I???m sure they all come together in the end, they felt very disjointed. I was enjoying the story about a young boy who loves to draw and his uncle and parents, but then it switched to a completely unrelated character who I had zero interest in and boredom set in.
I was curious about a book written by Tom Hanks, but while he writes (and narrates) well, the story just didn???t work for me.
Dnf 34% way too snarky and loaded for me. Wish I???d read the one star reviews before picking this one up. It was more ranty than nostalgic.
Dnf 56%
I was bored reading this but decided to hold on for the midpoint in case something exciting happened???
The characters have zero chemistry and I???m confused with how old they???re supposed to be. All Daniel likes to do is play hockey, get drunk and sleep with random girls, (great way to show he???s so in love with Madison).
The writing was also quite amateurish.
