Shut all the way up I will never recover from the book — excuse me while I puke (sorry Gus) over the fact that my perfectly favorite person is not real
This is the best thing I could have ever read on my birthday and the fact that it touched a lot of issues that I'm struggling with only cements the fact that it was fate. 100000/10 will read again.
ITS ON SIGHT CORYO
but fr I haven't read a book this good and nuanced in a while. Collins you are the GOAT
The domestic fluff I needed for my traumatized babies...except my girl nesta :( but it's okay the next book is for her so here's to hoping
The last 100 pages?? OOF AMAZING
Felt like I was reading three different books because there were 3 different plot lines and I loved it. It wasn't one problem dragging for forever — really well paced
If Christopher Nolan could write books this would be it — absolutely insane. Insanely good.
The kind of book that sophomore in high school Kayla would have gushed over but 22 year old Kayla is too old for the overly cute and perfectly wrapped story
Was honestly not excited to read this but once I started I couldn't put it down — sure she was problematic but aren't we all for the ones we love? And she was the OG GIRLBOSS — haters gonna hate
My favorite part about this book is that Baz doesn't look like he does because he's a vampire...it's because he's iron deficient lol
Started off good and I like the idea of the ending but WAY too rushed. I wanted a little more insanity sprinkled in and a more fleshed out ending. :/
This was exactly what I wanted from a dark academia fantasy book — the world building in the beginning was a bit slow but once it clicks the plot thickens and next thing you know you've devoured the book and immediately ordered the next one
Also Galaxy Stern is such a badass
p.s. not me having a crush on a demon, a detective, AND a ghost
I can appreciate the book for what it was: nothing but sad vibes and a terrible lack of quotation marks
This book was like a slap to the face every time new lore was dropped — like STFU NO WAYYY
The Helen Keller part took me out lol
Oceans 11 x Immortals x Mickeys house of villains x League of extraordinary gentlemen x Good omens x The sandman = this chef kiss of a book
Yearning for ribbons = me thrashing and screaming
Matthias and Nina got me hella depressed tho
