Damn... that was definitely not what I expected.
Every time a bit of information about the so-called Hero of Ages was revealed, the curiosity was killing me. And then, when the real situation unraveled, it left me speechless. That twist!! That was so clever!
The things about Terris religion, Hero of Ages and the mist spirit...👏🏻
Well, i was looking for books about werewolves to read, and there's a lot recommendations about this series. And this novella were mentioned to be read first before you started the series or you get lost when you start the 1st book.
I've always interested in werewolves when it comes to paranormal stuff and my first experience was through Wattpad. Let just say it wasn't a good idea.
So far I'm enjoying this. So I'm thinking of continuing the series.
Just like the first book, this one was fast-pacing. I really like how Adelina turned, consumed by her greed for power she even casted away her own sister.
When she uses her power to make Teren kills Giulietta I was trembling with excitement! And the scene where Raffael soothes and heals Enzo was heartbreaking. Oddly, their bond interest me more than the ‘romance' between Enzo and Adelina. The latter felt out of place.
I really like Adelina and the Magiano together but honestly, Magiano deserves so much better.
It felt like going on a long, arduous journey when I read this book. It was a slow book occasionally with big actions and unexpected twists. But all that leading up to the most unpredicted yet fitting ending. A bittersweet one.
It was such a wonderful read. The suffering each characters had to bear... thinking about it clenched my heart.
I like the first book more then the second one.
It felt so nostalgic reading this. Alice's wild imagination led her to the wonderland, just like how most children do. I used to dream a lot of adventurous stuff, with my own dream friends. Often time they were so ridiculous just like how Alice's are and remembered feeling so happy when i woke up.
This book made me remember those times.
At this point, all i care about is the brothers' relationship with each others. Man... that Zsadist and Phury moments were so precious. And the way Phury clung to John T-T.
I'm really no good when it comes to sexy times. If these books got none of that, chef kiss.
I swear the trailer scene made me jumped. I had goosebumps reading that.
Didn't expect that love triangle would be rectangle. Was it rectangle? Idk
I hate but love jorg at the same time. Damn you jorg! You gave me a lot of different emotions through this series and i freaking cried for jorg at the end!
The ending felt a little bit rushed but nonetheless it was fantastic.
It took me a while to get into the book. Almost dnf it because of the writing style. But I wanted to know what happened.
It was a great read, but I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting a good sob. But meh.
I didn't like this book as much as forgotten beast of eld. But I'm so glad I pushed myself through the first quarter of the book.
This book is just..... it hits me really hard. One thing that I absolutely hate is change. When things get comfortable, i want it to always stay the same. But no, that is not how it work. As time goes on, everything bounds to change. What you had you might lose it. What you loved you might hate it. It's inevitable and one way or another you have to face it.
the story itself was intriguing but I just cannot stand the mc. And the attraction between those two didn't appeal to me.
My taste when it comes to book is very simple. If i like the characters portrayed in the book, then I'm sold.
This series is full of characters that i loved. Their relationships with each other is the reason I'm giving the books in the series 4 stars. I don't know how many times I'm giggling throughout the books.
Cinder and Thorne bantering each other were just hilarious. I especially like the exchanges between Scarlet and Winter. It was oddly cute.
I'm definitely going to miss them.
I admitted that i was having a hard time getting into the story in the first quarter of the book. But then, the interaction between Howl and Sophie escalated and baamm just like that i was hooked. Howl was such a drama queen and Sophie was just like, are you done yet. I love them!
There were lot of funny times and moments i found very endearing that made me felt in love with the characters.
I am in love with this book. Everything about this book is just... ughhh perfect!
I love how Olive is the ‘gelabah' type and when Adam was teasing her, she kept falling for it. She so cute!!! And Adam Carlsen. Do I need to say more?! Man was perfection! He complemented Olive very well. Their romance was just on whole different level and made me felt weird things. I love it I love it I love it!!! 100/5 ⭐️
This is the types of book that will constantly be on my mind. And from the snippet of her next book, Ali Hazelwood might be my new favourite author for romance. I am not kidding.
The first time i pick this up, i was so overwhelmed by Cinder and her cyborgness that i decided to put it down. But then, i tried again and wow. It has been a while since I've read anything without stopping. I mean, i did just read this in one day. That showed how intrigued i am with this book.
Cyborg Cinderella with superpowers. Who could've thought.
I love it!
The last 90% of the book... so much was happening at once but it didn't feel rushed at all. I really liked it. So much sadness it got me tearing up.
Despite being scythe lucifer, Rowan didn't shine as much in this book. Instead we were introduced a new character, Greyson. Him and the Thunderhead are my favourite throughout the book.
