This is my favorite Sinners book. I absolutely love Trey. There is just something about him, maybe it's his suckers, I don't know. I love his journey and every time I think about this book I want to go back and read it again. I have to stop myself and give it more time before I get a re-read. That is the highest praise I can give.
I liked this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I got done in one day although it did seem to drag just a bit about 2/3 of the way in. I really like the main character Taren and his growth through the book. His journey more than anything is what kept pushing me on.
I loved this book. It was exactly what I was looking for at the time and I have not been able to forget it. So much so that I went looking for books that gave me the same feeling, which I just could not find. I am now re-reading this because I couldn't quite move on. I really enjoyed Boss Cold and Jimmy's relationship and the way it played out. If you like that the mafia boss gets romance too then this could be for you.
OK I don't usually read or enjoy first person POV but for some reason since getting into M/M there have been quite a few good books that just happened to be that way. So I figure, who am I to turn away from a good book just because of the POV.
So I went into this book with a bit of a minus against it already, however right from the first chapter I was laughing so hard I had to put my tablet down to wipe my eyes. Then I'd go back and start laughing again, it was crazy, I thought I would never get through the book. I have NEVER laughed as much in any book ever and I read about a book or two a day right now. I loved the characters and how they interacted with each other and I liked the love story. Most of all though, I loved how much I laughed so hard that my cheeks and ribs hurt. That is why this book gets five stars from me and the author is absolutely is on my top watch list.
