I read this years ago but I'd like to read it again. I have a vague memory of not being thrilled with the ending.
Hated what happened to every character. Absolutely ruined a series I loved growing up. I wish I hadn't read it.
I listened to this series. George Guidall brought everyone to life. I loved the people, cats, towns, everything. That's why this one was so disappointing. I know it's been reported that Ms. Braun did write this one but if that's true I'd love to know...Why? Why would she do that to these characters? I'm okay with relationships changing/ending but was she planning on doing something more in another book? When I re-listen to this series I chose not to listen to this one.
Really not a fan of all the preachy bullshit and a couple of the lines out of some of the characters were beyond belief. It's really unfortunate how this series went. The premise was fantastic and the first book was great! Book two started the Jesus Saves bull and this one continues it without any real explanation of the all the new people finding God.
A good cozy mystery. To me, the whole point of a cozy mystery is the comfort from the same characters and their lives. The murder is always secondary.
Re-reading the series. I truly feel at home in this world. Rowling can always take me away.
I really enjoy the underground world that Willberg has created. I'm looking forward to more.
Absolutely wonderful, I listened to it at work and so many times I was laughing so hard I was crying. It was wonderful!!!
It should have trigger warnings—the first 24 pages are heartbreaking and devastating. Suicide is prominent throughout. Absolutely beautiful once you get past the devastation. I loved it and am so glad I kept going.
DNF...this book came up under a search for books about women and friendships. I don't know why because it's romance. I can't stand romance.
Started this but stopped pretty quickly. I didn't realize each book was going to be some “poor, lonely” woman finding her true love. I don't enjoy romance novels. Too bad because I did like the first one.
Listening to George Guidall bring Qwill to life is fantastic. I actually laugh out loud at Koko.
