See allI think this was a fantastic way to be introduced to the Arthurian legends. The story is summarized very well, while still feeling like you're getting the story you came for. Also simple and easy to understand language. Overall, I really enjoyed my time reading this one and I can't wait to pick up more Arthur related books!
Not feeling it. The premise was intriguing, however I've been incredibly bored since starting this book. And I haven't vibed with the MC at all. So putting this one down. Maybe for later, maybe not at all.
So so good. I'm a little overwhelmed with emotions right now. It's been a while since I've connected with a main character like this and seen myself in a story. Our experiences and circumstances are different but there was a lot that really hit me in the gut. Things I've thought of, my complicated relationship with religion growing up, etc. I can't wait to read more by this author!
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I had heard a lot of mixed reviews but I have to say, I really enjoyed my time with it. It was fun and very entertaining. Harry as a main character was enjoyable and didn't annoy me like other male mcs. Some of the writing and dialogue was cheesy but it amused me at least, instead of putting me of. I'm definitely curious enough to continue the series, plus I hear they get better. So looking forward to that.
I can already tell this one is gonna suck. Read a couple of reviews and that seems to be the general consensus. So not gonna waste my time with it.
