“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to let you go, yuki”
finished this within a day because my man is down HORRENDOUSLY BAD AND IM HERE FOR IT. i was sobbing my eyes out when he and yuki’s dad had a sweet heart to heart, how yuki’s dad admitted to how he was always worried for his daughter because of her brother + her disability, the panel of yuki’s childhood and him admitting that seeing how much itsuomi loves her makes all their efforts feel worth it. yuki telling her mom that thanks to them facing things head on with her, they could help her?? itsuomi saying he loves yuki from the bottom of his heart????
dude the tears WOULD NOT stop 😭😭😭 yuki and itsuomi mean everything to me i’m so serious, they are my ults when it comes to fictional couples, I want them to be happy and thriving always 😭😭
this manga is genuinely becoming an all time favourite for me and i just get so attached to this story and what will come next…..
(now i gotta wait 5 weeks for the next volume rip 🫡)

“i’m afraid of the day that you’ll look at me and think I am more trouble than i am worth.”
when i tell you i bawled my eyes out from yuki’s speech, her feelings about itsuomi’s proposition. she was so nervous, scared yet hopeful to be more. the tears in both their eyes as she spoke….ugh. it was such a beautiful moment. and seeing his reaction, it made me feel like he’s never wanted her to be more than what she is. because he loves her.
ugh i can’t believe i’m getting this emotional over two of the sweetest and earnest fictional characters 😭😭
i’m still emotional thinking about what happens next for these two, (if anything bad happens i will sue for emotional distress 😭)

I just LOVE how wholesome and precious the story is, how itsuomi is so gentle and views yuki as precious. it warms my heart to see such a sweet relationship in media and i’m curious to what more of itsuomi’s world yuki will be able to see as she falls more in love with him
I just adore stories and romances like this, it‘a my bread and butter and I eat it up every single time!! now if you’ll excuse me, i’m reading volume 5 asap!!

and that little kiss he gave her after seeing her??? the way he tells her to hold his hand and squeeze it if she’s not comfortable (even if he doesn’t realize how inconvenient it is for her atm) MY HEART I ALMOST CRIED ON CAMPUS
i’m able to take the next volume out right now so if you see me log volume 4…..it’s over for me 😭

i hate how fast i finish reading mangas buT THIS MANGA IS ADORABLE OH MY GOSH. i’m genuinely hooked to the story and how cute yuki is, i relate to her sweet and shy personality and how she slowly falls for itsuomi 🥹🥹 since it’s the first volume, all i can say is that the book is adorable, i love the world building, the characters and everything this manga has to offer!!
(and i’m a sucker for friends to lovers, falling at first sight tropes….call me a hopeless romantic 🤭🤭🥰)
now to wait another month to borrow the next book 🫡

𝓸𝓯𝓯𝓲𝓬𝓲𝓪𝓵 𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰: DNF
i’ll be honest, while waiting for a sign of affection, i decided to check out another manga from my list, which was this one and i could borrow it instantly on Libby. i decided to check it out, see what the whole commotion was about and…..it wasn’t that great. idk.
something about jumping right into the two leads in a (somewhat fake, trial basis?) relationship didn’t sit well with me. even more so, the two leads were just kinda….meh. and the main guy being too forthcoming and practically pushing himself to her just made me stop reading. maybe i just don’t like fake dating tropes but this one just didn’t hit for me.

i finish reading mangas w a y too quick and that’s not good 😭😭 but i’m so addicted and hooked to the storyline, i’m dying to know more
(they CANNOT just leave me hanging with itsuomi kissing her hand like that?!?!)
although i worry my previous yuki may be falling headfirst into a situationship, since itsuomi’s reasons for learning sign language may be twisted, after that™️ panel (and the entire scene of them in his house- which had me giggling like a school girl 🤭🤭🥰) i have hope that he may harbor feelings for her too. i’m honestly so in love with this manga, it may be my new fav next to haikyuu 👀👀
i’ve got a 2 week wait for the next book on libby so let’s see how it goes!!

oh my tannies, what words can i say to you that will express the deep love and fondness i have for you? 💜💜
I bought this book when it was first released, so so excited to read in more depth and detail this amazing story about seven ordinary yet extraordinary boys from different parts of Korea, how they changed music for the better…..all from the love and appreciation they had for music in the first place. their story is a true underdog story. it’s hard not to love them, how genuine and down to earth they are, their aspirations and dreams- it’s so so beautiful to see it all in depth.
I will be honest, i cried during a lot of parts in the book. (top two: talking about breakwings in detail and end of her/tear era where they were so close to disbanding; i was sobbing like a baby, had to read these parts in my room alone bc i was inconsolable 😭) they have gone through so much- right off the bat they had to deal with hate from others who would belittle them, under estimate them. it’s honestly heartbreaking, reading it makes me think that they were so strong to have to endure so much from the moment they debuted.
i may be biased ranking this 5 stars but honestly, it’s beautiful and it’s well written. since this book was done along with interviews of the tannies through a span of 3 (?) years, i appreciate the author describing the mood, the facial expressions and tone of each member when those interview portions would appear (which is 90%) even to the point of describe how they would speak and their thoughts behind it bc they (bts) would of stated it. it made me feel like i was their with them and that i could view their story from such an intimate and personal level 💜 all in all, this a beautiful book that’ll sure make army even more proud of our tannies and even readers curious about bts, appreciate their journey from truly humble beginnings to stardom on a flight that never lands 💜🥹
