Octavia does it AGAIN. Sin Sessions was so hot and beautiful all at the same time. Dr Ethan Stag is amazing. Cora is a woman who just wants to be wanted, and from the beginning I could piece together why she wasn't - which made her affair a little easier to swallow.
I'm not a fan of cheating in books, but this one was actually really easy to read due to the reasons why it happened. And those reasons brought her to Dr Stag. Ethan pushes her to figure out what she wants and how to communicate it properly (which we can all learn from). I loved the psychobabble!
This book has :
Bdsm themes
Forbidden attraction
Praise kink
A little jealousy
Sour patch kids
Funny cat documentaries.
Seriously, if you're a fan of BDSM themes (done right!) and quick easy reads, you need to check out Octavia Jensen! Seriously! What are you waiting for? There are even MM books for you to read! Go. Now. Go go.
Levi and Cass.
I've loved every book in the heartbreak series so far, and Levi and Cass are no exception!
I loved the banter between these two. A good enemies to lovers, only one bed trope read! The connection that you felt from the moment Levi pulled Cass into his lap just bled off the pages. I had issues with the secrets Levi kept, because they didn't seem big enough to hold onto. But with the pressure he felt, and the hatred he harboured towards an old teammate, it makes sense that he would just keep it hidden to avoid any further heartbreak. Sometimes it's easier than admitting your true feelings.
These two will take you on a wild ride through 10 days at a resort where they are to share one room while working on a story for the local newspaper together. It will make you laugh and has moments you want to punch Levi...and a certain side character too.
Definitely worth the read! While this can be read as a standalone - I suggest reading the other books in the series for a better reading experience!
Loved it!
Absolutely pure smut, but I loved every sexy second of it! I do hope we get more of these four beauties, I loved them all!!
Octavia Jensen outdid herself on this magnificent book! I had a hangover for DAYS. Every time Octavia releases a book I jump on it because I know I'm going to love every minute of it!
There is just something I love so much about brothers best friend, but when you add angst an immediate connection, and a troubled past, you get a masterpiece. And that's evident here.
This book broke my heart over and over, but it was so well done. There are some tough subjects to read about, but man it's worth sticking it through. The character development over the course of the book is absolutely amazing. Of course, there is also off the charts spice, because it wouldn't be an Octavia Jensen story if it didn't have amazing “bedroom” scenes.
3.5 Stars, rounded down for Goodreads.
This book surprised me, and I'm unsure if it was in a good way? I wasn't expecting this book to turn ...weird...when I signed up for the tour LOL. It started off great. Wonderful spicy scenes, the story was easy to follow, there wasn't a lot of information dumps that didn't need to be there (which I appreciate so much). But then it gets a little weird. Some shady side characters that deserved death, descriptive scenes on killing wildlife, kidnapping and assault. Brock turns into a feral man, which I mean...granted. But it fell a little short for me.
I didn't see any TWs listed anywhere before reading this, so it was definitely something that took me by surprise. And if you have triggers PLEASE look them up or reach out to me.
Overall the book was good but I found myself skimming some scenes (the animal deaths and assault particularly). I love how Brock found his peace, and Jessie won her dad's company back. But there were just some parts I wasn't fully expecting to happen.
Gah! This second chance M/M romance knocked my socks off! I love a good office romance, and this one was chefs kiss. A quick read that had me swooning! Tommy's hatred towards the Christmas season made me terribly sad, but I loved how Matthew was willing to make it all better for him. This is such a sweet book for the Christmas season!

I absolutely adored this little novella! I am not much of an insta-love person, but I truly liked the characters here, and being isolated in a cabin in a snowstorm gives the perfect “fall in love” vibes.
The mental health rep was nice, even if it wasn't a major plot point. The small mention was enough to bring some realness to the character. I also loved that one of the men is deaf!
I love that the men knew what they wanted. The chemistry between Fox and Ruby was unreal. I also love me a good dad-bod rep with Gallow! And Koji is just ..well ...just read it
“For a long time, I had convinced myself that Oaks was the wrong boy for me, for my heart, for good common sense. Turned out it was just the wrong timing, not the boy. The boy is exactly who I want to spend the rest of this crazy life with.”
Tilly and Oaks have been separated for five years. After overhearing a conversation Oaks and her father had, Tilly realized her future with Oaks wasn't what she had hoped. Now she needs a contractor to help fix the Inn she inherited and Oaks is the only one who can help her. Will they be able to remain civil to get the project done?
This short, sweet read was beautiful. Oaks and his little heart broken self made me feel so much. He is such a beautiful character. Tilly is a strong woman who is just overwhelmed with life. I loved that she was able to take a step back and realize there is more to life than just responsibility.
I really wanted more of Oaks and Tilly. The epilogue was perfection! And even though this book is sweet down to its core, the spice level is pretty decent! There are plenty of spicy scenes to go around. I can't wait to read more about the people in Deacon!

“Sometimes I wished I wasn't a Devil, because she was the kind of girl who deserved someone who'd never put her through hell.”
This story had me trying to figure all the little twists out from the beginning. Decker and Mallory are absolutely electric! From their first encounter you can tell they're perfect for each other. While trying to write an expose they unintentionally fall in love. A bunch of heartache, and craziness threaten to come between these two.

Ugh. Be still my heart. I absolutely love Royce and Brielle. The development of Royce over the course of these books was absolutely amazing, and I was so, so excited to read his book and get inside his head and it did NOT disappoint.
These teenagers live in their own world, where they rule everything, and while that is a little unrealistic, it draws you in! It makes you guess and wonder and fall in love. I truly enjoyed this series and can't wait to read more by Meagan Brandy!
Briana Michaels is becoming a fast favourite as she writes these amazing stories. I have plans to delve into her backlist now because WOWSA.
I absolutely loved Glitch. And I loved this book just as much. The men that Briana writes are high quality, top shelf, kind of men. They are alpha, they are deep, they love fiercely, and they are DIRTY.
This book takes “treat her like a Queen in the streets and a w** in the sheets” to a new level!
And while Erin frustrated me with her push and pull, I'm glad she figured out that she deserves an amazing life. Absolutely wonderful!
QB Tyler is still a newer author to me, but everytime I read a book from her I adore it. Taboo is a genre that can either be done really well - or not well at all. And this one was great! The bond that JP and Whitney share is amazing, and the trust in the relationship led to some spicy scenes (including pegging)!
Whitney's relationship with her family is something I really loved in this story, as well as JPs relationship with them. They were always this really close knit group and I loved the interactions between them.
I loved this second chance romance! It gave me all the feels
This series is amazing and Final Offer was the best way to end this series. Cal was so amazing and I loved watching his progression through the book. Lana was such an amazing character for Cal. This book is highly emotional and I didn't expect all the feels that came with it. Cal is by far my favourite Kane brother! His effort to get better was truly amazing and I loved how much he wanted to prove to himself that he was worth it.
Also: this book deals with addiction and truly shows the struggles of how it feels like to live with an addiction. So be mindful of that before reading!

I am new to Lilith Vincent, having only read one or two of her books, but everytime I read one I go “wow! That was fantastic!”. This book was no exception.
I am normally not a fan of cheating in books but I think it works really well here. Laz was arranged to marry Giulia so he could settle down and have a child. Giulia came with an 18 year old daughter who is beautiful, smart, witty, and Laz couldn't get enough!
Mia is the black sheep of the family and just wants to get out. Her mother and uncles ignoring her makes her crazy, and overhearing a conversation about how she isn't wanted makes her furious. Laz makes it more difficult for her when he forces himself into her life, in more ways than one.
Laz has a plan that will help everyone get what they want - but it's risky. And he doesn't tell Mia, which could be his biggest downfall.
Read to find out what happens between this beautiful, forbidden, couple!
Cliffhangers. I dislike them because I'm so engrossed in a story that I never want it to end.
And Colten and Josies story had me so engrossed....and then bam! A cliffhanger! Like no other cliffhanger! And now I have to wait until I can read part two of this absolutely amazing story!
The back and forth between past and present got a little funky sometimes, but it was so, so important to the story. Every little piece is needed to fully appreciate who Josie and Colten are. Josie is very straight-to-the-point and take no bullshit, and Colten is someone who pushes but then falls in line. Both have been in love with each other for years, but is love enough to rebuild what they once had? Seventeen years is a long time apart, with hatred towards Colten, can Josie forgive him?
I loved watching these two learn who each other was again, while remembering the little quirks and pieces of each other that are core traits.
Jewel E Ann is just...perfect at writing these amazing stories that grip you from the first page and never want to end. I can't wait for part two!!!
I have been waiting for Holden's story since the beginning of this series and I'm so happy to have finally gotten his story! It blew me away! Both him and Julep.
Julep is deeply broken and just surviving the best she can. Grief is hard, but there is added stress that makes it difficult for her to feel anyother other than profound sadness.
Holden has only thought of one thing his whole life...football. He doesn't have time for anything else. That is, until he lays eyes on the one person he can't have...the coaches daughter.
Kandi Steiner is the queen of angsty sexual tension and she does a phenomenal job making the slow burning romance absolutely incredible.
If you're a pnr fan, check this one out!
I started reading Ghost on a “sort of” recommendation from a friend! I prefer not to look too much into a story, and I usually skim a blurb. I have been really into PNRs, especially the witch/demon kind, so when the blurb hinted at a demon story, I jumped on it!
I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised! This book was a bit more unique than others I've read in the genre (I'm still new to this genre!) and I loved it. There were moments that felt like they dragged on, but overall I loved the story and plot!
This book is LONG. I originally thought it was much shorter, and I didn't realize it's only book one and I have to waaaaiitttt. But I know it's going to be worth the wait, so you'll catch me pining for the next few months while I twiddle my thumbs LOL.
The character progression of Blythe was amazing! This frail girl, scared and running from her past, has found a home in Ash Grove. She's making friends and finding solace in this month-long halloween festival where people take their costumes a little too seriously. The way she starts to become confident in herself and finds the will to live. And wow! That ending! I wasn't expecting it!
Small Town Love!
Brady is a sheriff in a small town beach town on the east coast. He is trying to help his family's resort survive and there's a pesky new woman in town who has a knack for not following the rules.
Luna is a free spirit who just wants to fight for what she believes in. She's new to the little beach town and wants to stop deforestation for a shopping mall. A shopping mall that would bring in a lot of tourism for Brady's familys resort.
These two have chemistry right from the beginning. Luna is probably one of my favourite Heroine's because she pushes Brady and I love that she doesn't take his crap. Her brattiness is phenomenal! I loved the pillow talk, the goat yoga and Mabel's livestreams! This small town romance had me falling in love! I can't wait to see what else Starlight Cove has in store for us!
Ashley just walked away from an engagement to a guy she didn't really love and moved in with her best friend temporarily. Although the wedding wasn't going to happen, she decided to not let her honeymoon go to waste. Her friends, worried about her bad relationship choices, decided that if she was going to have a rebound trip, they were going to set her up.
Maddox has never taken a holiday, and when he found out the girl he's been crushing on since first grade was hosting a contest to find someone to bring on her honeymoon, he couldn't resist applying.
When he surprises her on the plane, they agree to have an amazing vacation in Nassau and let things flow naturally.
Gah. I love a sweet friends-to-lovers story and this one has jumped high on my list of favourites. Maddox's relationship with his siblings is amazing. I love the banter between him and his family. The chemistry between Maddox and Ashley was off the charts! The flirting relationship before they even go together was amazing.
I love Ashley's relationship with her mom and her friends. They played a large roll in Ashley's life and I loved all the interactions with them. There are a few times this story made me feel sad and emotional, and one scene in particular that hurt my soul a little bit. It was so beautifully written that I could feel the pain.
Definitely give this one a shot if you like friends to lovers and small town romance!

Book two in the Ladies Who Brunch Series, we meet Ethan and Amelia. I have been waiting to read their story since they were introduced in Never Say Never. This book can be read as a standalone, but you do see repeating characters.
Amelia is a marriage therapist who just recently secured a brand new office space to practise out of. Excited for this new chapter in her life, she decorates her office and makes it homely. She never expected that Ethan, a divorce attorney, would be using the space right across from her! How can a marriage therapist and a divorce attorney work this closely to each other without causing issues?
Enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, single dad...this book's tropes are amazing and I loved every minute of the book! From the banter, the prank wars, and the steamy office fun, everything about these two was so enjoyable!
As with the first book, I absolutely love the fact that this book isn't just about Amelia and Ethan, but the girls who have weekly brunches! The support system we all need in our friends, this book does it well!
Quick, fun, pleasurable!
This book was something I wasn't fully expecting to love, if I'm honest. But Nice and Elle are super sweet. Nic is an escort that is hired (by Elle's friend)mtomescort Elle to a wedding without Elle knowing. I loved the push and pull and the inner dialogue of Nic as he fought his feelings for Elle. I found the beginning to be a little slow as the end to be too quick, but overall a decent read.
3.5 rounded to 4 ⭐
I always underestimate how much I'm going to love a book by Kandi Steiner until I start reading a new one and go “oh, yes, why did I think this wasn't going to blow me away?”
Blind Side is set in the same world as Fair Catch but is a standalone. You do not need to read Fair Catch to read Blind Side, but it enhances your reading experience for sure!
Clay Johnson is the hottest football safety. His highschool girlfriend just moved across the country to....break up with him? Being lost, he turns to Giana Jones, PR coordinator for the team, to pretend to be his girlfriend to make her jealous. But what's in it for Giana? Well, she has her eye on a certain guitar playing singer who plays at coffee shops and bars around campus. Clay will help her be noticed, and Giana will help make Clay's ex jealous. Sounds simple right?
Well of course, nothing is simple. From first kisses, to movie nights watching documentaries on the ocean, to checking out the night sky, these two end up falling in love.
Giana is the best. She finds her voice through the book and I loved seeing her have more confidence in who she is by the end.
Clay is just a wonderful, sweet guy. He truly just wants the best for those around him, even if it means he hurts in the process.
Definitely put this one on your TBR if you haven't yet! It's so good!

“When you smile at me, it's like the world disappears and I'm caught in your spotlight.”
Just in time for Pride Month, Lauren Blakely delivers, yet again, a great M/M romance! It's been a hot minute since I've picked up a book from Lauren Blakely, and I'm beating myself up for that!
This is book one in the Hopelessly Bromantic Duet - so be aware that it does end on a cliffhanger.
She brought the banter in this one! I loved the flirting between TJ and Jude. The chemistry was bursting right from the get-go!
This book takes place over the course of 7 years. TJ was sent to London to cover the markets for News24. While waiting for his luggage he runs into Jude who tells him the best thrift store to get an outfit from.
When he arrives to his flatshare, he is surprised to find out that Jude is his new roomie! Jude is an aspiring actor who just got his first place in the city. Due to the complicated nature of their attraction, and the time limit of TJs stay, they decide it's best not to get physical.
This rollercoaster ride is absolutely amazing and I honestly can't wait for book two!
Want a book that keeps you up all night?
This may just be it! It's been a while since I've stayed up until 2am to just finish a book because I couldn't put it down. Nick and Eveline are just absolutely wonderful. Their connection can be felt from the beginning and being thrown together in close proximity only enhances that.
The enemies to lovers is strong with this one. Eveline and Nick both hate who each other is, and they hate that they have these feelings towards each other. The hate sex is unreal. And the gun scene
