There are two types of people in this world. Those who can appreciate this work and those who cannot entertain its value.
This was a poignant glimpse into the way of the camino, with its trials and tribulations and memories. It was the perfect book to come home to. Yes, this feeling of longing for the open road and the people who are there no longer - all this is normal. Pilgrim feels much like a “welcome back, and I feel you.”
It was fascinating to see my childhood experience be put into words. While I wouldn't say that my mother is narcissistic, there was much to learn about healing for daughters, and to ending the legacy of pain nevertheless.
A worthwhile read for any millennial, or anyone who is or aspires to be a leader for this increasing portion of the workforce. This book has helped me to understand my values on a deeper level, and reaffirms that I am not alone on this journey. There is so much good in this much-misunderstood generation. Read it for your own sake and for the future generations to come - we can all learn from Chris Tuff's faith in millenials.
