Anthony Bourdain's writing is lively and transports you right to a seat at the table. I can hear his voice speaking to me as I read. Excellent.
Bourdain takes you from country to country and samples the food and the culture and occasionally talks about the realities of doing all of this while being filmed. His writing style is captivating and enchanting, turning a country you once thought of underdeveloped and dirty into something magical and now at the top of your countries-to-visit list. If you enjoy food and travel, there's no question that you need to read this book.
