A Touch of Darkness

I could not get into Gilded, so I listened to the first book in the Hades x Persephone series instead. This is outside of my normal genres, but I liked it! I've never read any of the Greek mythology retellings.

And this was hot! I used to write smut (it's off the internet and I'm not sharing anymore than that.), so I like to think I know good smut haha. I can see Henry Cavill as Hades if this was a movie.

The sexy time aside, I liked the world Scarlett St. Clair brought to life. The Gods live among humans and are celebrities. They own businesses and revel in the mortal attention. Or in Hades case, chooses not to participate in that part of it.

Persephone is a college student, still figuring out her place and powers in this world.
