Lots of things happened in this volume. It's a good compilation of the issues and a fitting end to the Age of Darkness arc (and not for the better!). It's essentially a culmination of all the things that the Dark Queen had been scheming and planning for. The only gripe I have is that since she's so obviously super-powerful and without equal, one can't help but wonder why she bothered so much with being subtle, using subterfuge, blackmail, and working behind the scenes. But then again, that's never been a strong suit of this whole Grimm Fairy Tales series. There's the usual compilation of covers and alternate covers at the end (there's a lot of them this time, almost feels like filler, and some of them are actually pretty ugly illustrations).
