3.5 stars interesting concept! I'm definitely going to pick up the second volume soon. The only reason why I didn't give it a full 4 stars is because I felt the text was a bit awkward in the first two issues.
This was better than I ever imagined. The story gave me pause for thought many times and solidified my childhood stance that when the AI revolution comes, I will fight for the droids. I also love any conversation concerning what it means to be sentient and how humans treat beings deemed “less than.” I came to the conclusion ages ago that we suck big time.
Volumes 2 & 3 are on there way via Royal Mail. I just know I am in for a treat.
Wow... This story is so unique and intriguing. I love the characters, the plot and the pacing. Can't wait to read the next volume.
Quite good, a sad story about wanting a robot girlfriend. Now on to consciousness adventures. As always, too short. I should really take out the compendiums instead.
Oh, I enjoyed this one. But I'm always a sucker for emotional AI stories. Ex Machina, Her, Ghost in the Shell, Chobits, whatever.
This is actually rather a bit like Chobits, although Alex is not as goofy as Hideki, and this is more serious. The art is fair, and the writing is good. But what I really loved was the technology and background of the androids themselves, the mythology of this world. I'm pumped to read the next one.
