Very interesting perspective on augmented humans and the possible interaction with society.
Quite descriptive & interesting in most places, but the story & character development moves too fast. Enjoyable read, but there really are no surprises.
Pretty good book. Kept me interested. Sort of flattened out at the end like the author decided it was time to wrap things up.
Amp is a promising sci-fi thriller with a solid premise and intriguing characters. However, the novel's execution falls short due to its uneven storytelling. While the plot is engaging, the narrative often feels disjointed and lacks a cohesive flow. The pacing is inconsistent, with some sections dragging while others rush through crucial plot points. Despite these flaws, Amp offers a glimpse of Wilson's potential as a sci-fi author, and with tighter writing, his future works could be truly exceptional.
