An unmarked grave

This story started off really strong with the introduction of the Spanish influence epidemic and it was very suspenseful when compared with the more measured and methodical pace of the previous Bess Crawford stories. Unfortunately, I found the ending a bit flat despite a very nerve-wracking climax. I keep hoping that there will be more resolution to bess's personal life.
