Unlike most, I actually enjoyed the flashback in this volume. It was nice to see how some of the characters struggled getting to the point of mastery they have now. It was also interesting to see that Mikasa sabatotaged Eren's vertical gear. I wonder why she doesn't just come out and say she wants to have a quiet life with him?
