I'm not sure what I expected from a TMNT/Batman crossover comic, but this met and exceeded my expectations in every way.
The turtles are sucked up via portal and transplanted from NYC to Gotham City, and find themselves stranded with no way home. Compounding things, they need to get home in a relatively short period of time, or they'll find themselves reverted back to their turtle/rat selves. Shredder teams up with some of Batman's rogue's gallery, the turtles team up with Batman, and things go about as predicted.
The comic managed to capture both Batman's brooding in the beginning and the turtles' joking sense of humor, side-by-side, in a way that didn't feel forced or out of place. Huge clap for that. The art was also fantastic, and the Raph/Batman interplay was unexpected and actually made me smile at the end. Just an overall fantastic comic in every way.
The best part of this was seeing Batman's rogue gallery transformed into Ninja Turtle enemies.
Leonardo and Batman fighting was also a lot of fun. Master splinter is the best.
