Enter A Lost World of Monsters and Magic!
The legendary Dark Prophet has been drawn back from the dead by a spell of unspeakable power. And with the Prophet's return, the Doom Masters of Padmasa prepare to launch a devastating new attack against the Empire of the Rose—a war fueled by the most evil of sorceries and by new weapons that could end the world of the Empire, the legions and the battle dragons. The Empire has no choice but to take the fight to the enemy before the Masters can build their forces to an undefeatable strength. Bazil Broketail, Dragoneer Relkin and the 109th Fighting Dragons set sail in an armada from the Argonath to the far away continent of Eigo, an ancient land of prehistoric monsters. There a desperate race begins, with the legions and battle dragons marching into the Lands of Terror to confront their gravest threat yet in a struggle of epic scale.

After a disappointment, my usual method of holding of this emotion is try to read anything that has devils, demons, any pantheon of gods/goddeses or dragons, again I find myself opening another Christopher Rowley or Bazil Broketail and Relquin(I find putting in the dragonboy is a much better description, since most of time we are treated to Relquin's point of view, hardly any of Baz's), and suffice to say, it paid off, not only was I able to battle and win against that particular emotion but the reading of this book, made me EXCITED again to battle it out!!!
Dragon's of War for me was a bit of a turn off, going against the might of the great enemy the whole affair pales in comparison to Battledragon, from the beginning we are already shown what will happen to this particular book, a pity I thought “HE WHO MUST”, was going to be a fine villain, and yet the real villain turned out to be much better in comparison, this is one of the strength of Mr. Rowley, from the beginning you already know who the opponent is and yet the topsy turvy way of reaching the end of the story comes as a surprise always.....Again a good read this one, nothing to say but book five here I come!!!
