Before I Do

Before I Do follows Audrey as she prepares to marry her fiancé while the universe seems to be conspiring against her. It's a cute story, a bit cringe in some spots, more about self-discovery than romance. The topics covered are a little dark at times but the story stays lighthearted throughout. It takes a few chapters for the story to settle in, but end up being an easily bingeable book.

I really loved reading this book. This was a very uniquely written romance, almost starting at the end, and slowly revealing the beginning.

I've read everything Sophie Cousens has written, and I gotta say, she just keeps raising the bar with each one.

I wasn't sure about her choice until the very end, which I think says a lot about how the author played the characters. And the plot is actually something that most people probably relate to. It'd been a long time since chick lit seemed less than vapid. Great shot.

I loved this book and the interpretation of a “second chance” romance was so creative. 
In particular, I loved that Audrey and Josh ended up together.
