A neat little short story that fills in the details of how Nona got thread bonded with Ara, whilst at the same time offering a nice espionage and mystery story. Always nice to return to the ninja nuns that Mark Lawrence has put together and this is a worthy addition to the Book of the Ancestor world. Not essential, but fun nonetheless.
I loved being back with the nuns! My only complaint is that it was too short. This is one of my all time favorite series.
