Mell Eight adds plenty of twists in Breaking the Shackles. There are additions to our base crew as connections are made. Baine and Dean's relationship is shown through its conclusion, but Laine and Reese's is not, which is slightly confusing as this is Laine's story.

Shackles is a quick story with action, heat, and humor. Eight expands the world created in the first book. I want to know more about talking trees - but that's just my curiosity.
