Stealing from a dragon’s hoard is never a bright idea, but stealing from a baby dragon’s hoard can lead to tears, sniffles, and smoke in the middle of a busy marketplace. Jerney, a witch who does work for a well-known thieves’ guild, knows exactly who’s to blame for the brazen theft. With no other choice in the matter, he quickly becomes entangled in trying to help the baby dragon. What he doesn’t expect is his own heart might get stolen in the process.

Mell Eight always gets me with their family oriented stories. Stealing the Dragon is all about family. I respect Jerney so much. The strength of character that he had at such a young age to make the decisions and sacrifices he did for his family is commendable. I think Eight has created my favorite character out of all of their stories and I did not think that was possible because they write some pretty strong and memorable characters. Jerney is a notch above all of them. I think I am crushing a little.
