DNF'ed. Liked the idea but could have been about 100 pages shorter. Got bored of reading it.
Beautifully written with a vast imaginative world but I really struggled to care what happened to the characters and any time something interesting was mentioned about how things may have ended up like this it was never followed up. By the end I really wondered what the point was tbh.
The book is full of complex and fascinating characters with a captivating plot. The worldbuilding was one of the most interesting parts of the beautifully meticulously detailed book. The author created a fascinating atmosphere that keeps you captive. Although I had some problems with the pace of the book, the world was so fascinating that I couldn't put the book down
