I read a lot of Alien menage romances and erotica and I have to say that I appreciate Nessa Claugh's take on this genre in Claimed by the Alien. The trope is a common one that we will all recognize. The difference in Claimed is that Adina and Mike are happily married and very sexually active as Claugh writes (thank you very much).
The introduction of a third has never occurred to Mike as he is not bisexual and neither is Adina. I will admit to kind of hoping as there is another character introduced who I love who I would have enjoyed seeing in the mix. Back to Mike and Adina, they have a healthy marriage. This is when Claugh goes left and I really enjoyed the twist and the logic of it (in my mind anyway (laugh)).
Claugh gives us plenty of ether (like my use of space words here? lol). Mike brings up good points in the story, so I will not echo them other than to say I agree and it does seem kind of one-way.
I really like the story and the ether.
I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
