Ugh. My head hurts.
The ending left some bitter taste in my mouth. Not very happy with the ending, really. I mean, yeah, we know who did it, but almost everyone else is oblivious to it. And it's not fair. It really is not fair.
This book kept me second guessing all along. Didn't see the twists coming. Don't know why I never suspected the brother. But the ending did not make any sense. Why would Ellie the friend be convicted? All evidences pointed to the brother. I guess the ending was a poor attempt at a final twist.
Oh this was a good one. I was in the mood for a mystery/thriller and this delivered. The premise was “fun” being a true crime documentary and it made for a quick pace and urgent storytelling. There were lots of twists and a few of them I didn't see coming and was actually shocked by them. It was a very fun ride!
