Mell Eight has managed to pull on every single heart string I have.

Then Eight creates two heroes to root for without even breaking a sweat (or so it seems (laugh)). Dane is incredible and there is a good reason why, but I am not telling. He stumbles upon a curious scene and where it would faze most people, he just rolls with the punches and tries to fix it before looking for the cause of it (blame). I love that in a leader.

Mercury. (sigh) In the middle of his own trauma, he stops and saves others. He does this even though it puts him at further risk. Then he takes more risks to save more dragons. He inspires loyalty and his kits just love him.

Then there are the kits. You can't just fall in love with one. They are all special in their own ways.

This is what I love about reading a Mell Eight book. Eight creates a world where all should be accepted and considered “normal”. No matter what they look like or what they are.

The mystery comes first in this book and the romance is an afterthought. There is action, comedy, and even a birth. You do not want to miss the re-release of the kick-off to the “Supernatural Consultant” series Dragon Consultant.
