I got hooked on Colleen Hoover's wonderful voice when I recently read Hopeless and Finding Cinderella was just as fabulous.
She has a way of bringing her characters alive so they virtually leap off the page.
Thoroughly enjoyed!
This was sososososososososo great and cute and amazing and holy crap, I fucking loved this. It's a freaking novella, like, it's short but so entirely cute that I can't even deal, like, oh my god, and it's funny-so fucking hilarious at times, Daniel's family is fucking great and I just can't this was too cute I can't fucking handle it
I loved it a lot it was really easy to get through. The characters were enjoyable. I read this as a stand-alone since I never read a book by Colleen Hover, but after this I'll definitely pick up one of her novels when I have the chance. Although I really loved this stand-alone I feel like it could have been more fleshed out than it was. I liked Six but I found hard to sympathize with her since we didn't really get to know the characters.
It was okay. It was kinda cute, kind of well written. It was a a great quick read, I listen on Libby and I had it done in almost 3 hours.
I don't want to give any big spoilers but there's a twist at the end that just comes out of nowhere. It doesn't make sense with the rest of the story and just seemed like the last sticky note on the board that just had to make it in.
And there goes my first booktubeathon book!
I didn't realize this was a novella until it was too late, but, fortunately for me, it still made sense without having read the other novels.
There is little plot to this. It reminds me a lot of a light, fluffy fan fiction. It's cute but there's not much to it. Hoover tried to add a little drama to the story, but ultimately it still went like this:
Girl meets boy. Boy meets girl. Kiss kiss fall in love. Oh no! Fight. Makeup.
And I give you the basic plot. Moreover, it was quite predictable. I guessed the majority of the “plot twists” before they even happened so I can't say I was exactly enthralled with this novel.
This was a quick and cute read! I wouldn't recommend it, but I'm not upset to have read it either.
