3.75* - this one was a little lacklustre plot wise but ill most probably still pick up the next one
Audiobook
It was fine. I am losing interest in the story. Too many characters involved and random twists.
Will probably be the last one I read in the series.
3.5 stars I have mixed feelings about this book! I was so excited to read it and the premise sounded fun, but 20% in, I didn't find it as engaging as the first two books and I didn't feel like picking it up :( Maybe it was the setting that restricted the action? It didn't feel as exciting as the previous book, less action packed. Still, I love the humour in this series and this 3rd book doesn't disappoint there. Also, Vero is also growing on me and I cannot wait to see how her story arc will develop.
I liked this one much better than the second! Love Nick and I didn't even really know why. I thought this was fun the whole way through. Can't wait for the next book!
3.5 and rounding down
Another fun installment of the Finlay Donovan series.
I have to say, while I'm not thrilled with the setting for this one, I am always up for a training/competition plot line.
This mystery definitely kept me guessing right until the reveal which is usually something that doesn't happen.
If you are fan of the Finlay and Vero duo, you will certain get your fill of hijinks in this one. It was a funny, fast paced, tension and action filled read that I couldn't put down.
HAPPY PUBLICATION DAY!

I feel like each Finlay book gets more unhinged than the previous one. This book definitely requires a healthy dose of suspension of disbelief, but what can I say, I REALLY enjoyed it. It was probably my favorite of the series, with higher stakes, and a mystery that kept me flipping the pages.
I would actually recommend reading the other books in the series before starting this one, I even felt like I missed a few things because it had been a year since I read the previous book.
Every book in this series so far is amazing. There isn't anything I don't love. It's funny, saucy and just brightens my day each time I dive in. The way this one ended??!! I need the next book ASAP.
If you haven't tried this series yet what are you waiting for? I swear I hear Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph in my head when I'm reading these books.
This is the same narrator has the first two and she voices Finlay perfectly.
This book did not disappoint! Finlay and Vero are back at it. The duo attend a citizen's training held by the police department to uncover the identity of the person trying to kill her ex husband. The relationship these two have is great! Very Lucy and Ethel. They balance each other out while also going along with each other's crazy ideas.
This series is all a crazy series of circumstances, which I enjoy. Finlay does seem to come out without being questioned too much, but I look forward to the next book. I do recommend reading the series in order. The first book to this book spans October to January with each book building on what happened in the previous book.
Thank you MacMillian and NetGalley for the opportunity ro read and review this book.
