Someone needs to be taught a lesson... a stunningly original new thriller from the runaway bestselling author of My Lovely Wife Teddy Crutcher has just won Teacher of the Year at the prestigious Belmont Academy, home exclusively to the brightest and the best. He says his wife couldn't be more proud - though no-one has seen her in a while. He's deeply committed to improving his students. And well aware which ones need improving. And all he wants is for his colleagues - and the endlessly interfering parents - to stay out of his way. Oddly, not everyone agrees that Teddy has their best interests at heart. But will that change when someone receives a lesson to die for...?

Teddy who is teacher of the year at a very posh private high school just can't be bothered with all the parents of his student's who just want the “best” for their child. With changed grades or extra credit. Or other teachers who stand in his way.

This book was... meh. It was predictable. There were no twists, you know who the killer is from the beginning. Because they tell you. Nothing unexpected or surprising happens. Not what I would categorize as a thriller.
