In this robust story, readers follow Tobias as he uncovers the details of an Erudite plan that could threaten the faction system, and makes plans of his own to keep Abnegation safe. At the same time, Tobias is getting to know a new transfer initiate: Tris Prior.

I loved reading these short stories and learning a bit more about who Tobias was before/during Divergent. The series really makes you feel for Tobias by showing his struggle over his father, fitting in with the Dauntless, and what he does when he realizes there is going to be an attack on Abnegation. I would love to read more from his POV. Highly recommended!
I'm glad she wrote these. I think the only thing that would have made them better is if they were one book instead of four parts.
