2,5 stars
This was better than the first but the problem with terri terry is her knack for re-stating what has already been said and for the too much feelings thingy... Which explains why this book is 400 pages long. The ending was good... Really good and it makes feel a bit guilty that i gave the book 2,5 stars.
Kyla is still stupid though. Sometimes she reached conclusions too fast it is weird like some god planting the ideas in her head... And sometimes she takes pages to find stuff out even not on her own when I already would have found it out at the right time.
What i still don't get is why in every YA book 17 year olds are responsible for saving the world. But in this book it seemed the most ridiculous of all. Kyla seemed like a freaking saviour. It is pushing over the limits and just flat out ridiculous. But i can still see terri's point. Someone changed and manipulated since she was a kid.
And also it crossed my mind that the book is too close... Too focused on a handful of places... Too limited it is annoying And removes credibility. Oh and not enough description of places people and things
All in all it makes me excited for book three
This book is definitely better than the first one.
Kylie/Rain tries to understand who she is and she wants to be, she hates the lorders and wants them to pay for the things they have done but she also don't want to make innocent people who are tools for the lorders to be caught in the cross fire.
Nico is an asshole and psychic I knew that from the start and I still love him anyway
I hated that Ben doesn't remember Kylie, I feel that Ben & Kylie are meant to be together
Cam is even more asshole than Nico , he should rot in hell I hated him from the beginning, his actions are suspicious like he knows Kylie is schedule he always follows her around see what she up to , I was thinking either he is creepy stalker or spy .
I wished Amy and Kylie became closer but disappointingly they more apart like strangers, it would been cooler if Amy was acting like Kylie is actual sister.I understand Kylie/Rain is problem with trusting people but although she have this problem she still trusted some people who betrayed her.

Okay, I know I like this because it's one of the first dystopian series I read. But still, it helps me get through my day knowing I'm not the only one having an identity crisis.
