Fragments of a Fallen Star

Moira Karl-Fisher runs away from the bigoted island of Thinkell in search of a place where she can just be. She's barely spent one night in the city of Dameera when she's accused of being a MagiK, is nearly killed by the worst human being to grace the Lands, and now owes her life to the eccentric Nailah, a girl who apparently runs her own ship, and makes Moira's insides twist with confusing heat. After agreeing to aid Nailah on a quest that promises magic, danger, and adventure, Moira finds her search to simply exist suddenly turning into so much more.
