The plight of Tae's kidnapping starts to feel pretty dragged out. And Tae seems to have just gotten the “invulnerability” treatment where, wherever she goes, others around her will die and she just miraculously and mysteriously survives, delivering her implied message of the human cruelty. And of course, the purpose for Kurono in coming after her, otherwise, you know, Kurono could actually be helping his team save more people, lol. Nishi gets a spotlight too, since he's not the type to help people, he stayed behind. Somehow the aliens know about the black balls (how?!) and have hacked it (how?!) and sent giant insects to attack it. Nishi... grows a little conscience. Oh no, is this the Izumi treatment? I keep expecting him to die but he hasn't yet. And no word on the group of men controlling the balls.
