We're getting back into the Gantz world of the weird, the unexpected, and the unexplained. Not that it's out of character, but it just doesn't feel right. It feels like an excuse to drag things out and ignore the main plot. Basically, Kurono (the one with Reika) and his team got teleported into some sort of underground location in alien territory. And there, they fight against not-very-clearly-drawn insect-like, grub-like creatures, and having to deal with some weird mutation triggered by... light spores. It's just like any other Gantz mission, but this isn't really the time for it.
The other Kurono, just when he thought he's achieved his objective, well, the men behind the Gantz balls finally took action. Somehow they managed to transfer dozens of giant robots into the enemy ship directly. And somehow, they figured out the weakness of the aliens. All from one captive who they can't even communicate with. Oh well, screw logic when it's giant robots we're talking about, right? Lol. And oh, Nishi is apparently a super hacker, taking control of alien cameras and a Gantz ball to remotely teleport himself into a giant robot. Yea. Just, suspend of disbelief and go along with it.
