I really am about a 3.5 stars on this book, but with that not a option it was more or a 4 star (than 3 star book).
This book had me a little longer than the last one. It took me til the second murder to figure out ‘who done it.' It was definitely a fun read and I enjoyed the interplay between the characters. I will be reading more of these books in the future.
The main appeal of these books is the development of the main character, Eve Dallas. She is compelling and likable - but not too likable! Of the two JD Robbs I've read thus far, the mystery is very obvious. But I like them. I'll keep reading them.
Eve was still kiss ass. Roarke came across less creepy. It was an easy, fluff type of read. Again future world was the backdrop. Murder still is piloted by the same motives. I was disappointed to find when I was close to the end I all ready knew who the murder was from the beginning. I lost interest in the chase. But writing was good. The POV change was much more clear in this installment.
