I read a review roughly saying ‘We love you Gwen but please stop going to Childkiller River etc' and they can't be more correct. It has the same feel of the other books but at this point, she needs to calm down and take a break. It's not every day put yourself in more danger. Pick a new career, change your name again. Enough man.
P.S
For some reason, the climax of this book reminded me of The Hunger Games. DO NOT read this expecting that, I think it just shows how much that book is imbedded in me.

EDIT:
I just found out that the author died. This book was published posthumously, and I can't help but think that this was a great book for her to finish an amazing literary career with. I have enjoyed many books from Rachel Caine, and she will be missed amongst her bookish fans. Rest In Peace x
