I love how it's not about drama within their relationship. There is no ‘will they won't they' It's just really lovely and respectful. No miscommunication, no misunstandings. Just a cute couple dealing with life. It's really refreshing.

Both Charlie and Nick are so sweet together. This series is such a comfort read we definitely need more of these kinds of books in this crazy world.
Better than the first one and so incredibly cute!! The show is so close to the source material.
I will keep giving this comic 5* throughout all the volumes cause it just has my heart in a tight grip.

Even better than Vol 1. Nick's journey here is portrayed exquisitely, so thoughtful and sweet and supported and full of consent. His Mum's one sentence response was note perfect and what every queer person wants to hear, definitely made me tear up.

Ma critique pourrait tenir en un seul mot : « cute ». C'est bien ce mot qui qualifie le mieux ce deuxième volume du webcomic d'Alice Oseman. Le premier était déjà mignon et plaisant à lire, celui-ci poursuit de la même façon les aventures de Nick et Charlie, les deux adolescents amis et peut-être un peu plus qu'amis. Pas vraiment de surprise dans ce deuxième volume, mais c'est toujours aussi agréable à suivre, et toujours aussi ... « cute » !
This was OK - the boys are very cute together. But it started to feel like every possible modern teen problem was being crammed into the story. It went from sweet slice of life with some earned drama to feeling like a particularly heavy-handed after school special.
Heartstopper is such a special series to me and that's exactly why months later I am coming back to write a review so I can try convince as many people as I can to pick this up.
These characters and the stories that come along with them are special and important. I wish I had stories like this when I was younger and trying to find myself. Being able to watch as Charlie and Nick fall in love felt almost like a privilege. They are so special.
I absolutely recommend this.

This book made me cry during Nick's coming out scene. I very rarely cry because of books but this one did it for me. The whole book was so well done. The gay confusion is absolutely perfect especially with Nick being confused about his sexuality. And also such a cute romance. I can't wait to continue this series. *Me from the future has reread this book way too many times.
