How to Be Both

I suspect this book would have been more interesting without the hook of which-story-comes-first, but an enjoyable read with some nice surprises which steered the book just to the side of the ubiquitous heteronormative tales.

I might as well declare Ali as my favourite contemporary novelist.

Puberty is hard enough without having your mother die unexpectedly. I loved this, esp the second second.
