How to Treat Magical Beasts

I didn't even realize this was the final volume until I finished. Simultaneously the best feeling and the worst feeling in manga reading, I think.

To summarize for my friends, Ziska is an apprentice veterinarian, but finds she has abilities more in-line with helping magical beasts than regular pets. The series follows her as she gets her footing, helps various magical beasts of all flavors, and is generally just a good person to everyone (man and beast) around her. It's a very comfy series. This final volume tackles the mystery of a dangerous beast roaming the mountains and the damage being done to the bond between man and magical beast. Things are wrapped up in a very satisfying way, and even though I wish there were more volumes, I'm happy with how things ended up.

Highly recommend this series if you're looking for something cozy, heartwarming, and comfy in your magical beast manga.
