I found this at the thrift store with water damage and bought it for 4 dollars, best decision I ever made. All I can say is that this book made me so happy, to glimpse into humanity is a beautiful thing.
Don't read interviews of the author, it will ruin these books for you.
How could you give this anything besides 5 stars? I expected to be mildly entertained during the few pages I'd dip into every few days. What I got was the entire breadth of the human experience. Sometimes profound, sometimes heartwarming, sometimes funny, sometimes thought provoking, sometimes sad. This book was a labour of love to the human race.
I loved book two so much that I sought out book one. Equally good. Recommended.
This was amazing! It shows how diverse New York City can be. I love how each picture told a story. It was inspiring.
