This was an interesting quick read (for the College Students Spring/Summer Challenge). Though overall I thought it fast-paced and better-developed than many model memoirs, I think Renn (or her writer partner) got tangential at times. For example, Renn/her writer partner go on and on about obesity in the U.S. and how it's overhyped as a major concern.
