How could Rhia’s selfish young sister Val have been quite so heartless as to involve her boyfriend Glyn in a car crash that robbed him of his sight, and then run away from the situation? And how, in the circumstances, could Rhia refuse to go along with Glyn’s uncle Jared Frazer’s suggestion that she impersonate Val at least until Glyn was on the way to recovery. At any rate, the idea seemed to work – until Rhia found herself faced with another problem: how could she control her feelings for Jared, when his sister-in-law Lisa, Glyn’s mother, had already earmarked him for herself?
