This was such a wonderful sequel to the Lovelight Farms series. I absolutely loved Beckett in the first book, but being able to actually learn more about him and how he thinks was so great. I fell more in love with his character because of it. I also appreciated that this book was Dual POV. Often, romance books in a series stick with a similar POV throughout, and since the first one was from only from the woman’s POV, I was worried about losing out on Beckett’s thoughts. I was very happy that was NOT the case. I also fell in love with Evelyn. She was very relatable. Her search for happy in a world that is inundated by social media and the internet is something I think everyone can connect to. This book even made me want to take stock of my life and look for “my happy”. It’s rare that a romance book does that for me. While, of course, this book had more than just romance, ooooh man, was the romance good. They both were so sweet with each other and had such good chemistry, it was hard not to shout “just get together already!!”. There is something really addictive about the way this author writes. I’m not sure what it is but it just screams comfort and wholesome. I really can’t recommend this book (and series) enough. I will 100% being reading the next installment.
Loved loved loved 9.86/10. I love one grumpy farmer cat dad and his sunshine social media influencer girlfriend.
Characters-10
I loved Evie and Beckett. We met them in Book 1, but I loved seeing their story unfold. I thought they matched each other perfectly in terms of personality. We also have appearances from the characters from Book 1, and I loved seeing them again. Evie as a character was definitely relatable, and I saw some elements of myself in her.
Atmosphere-10
I'm here for the small-town vibes of this series. I love the small-town stores and the phone tree.
Writing-10
I'm rating the audiobook a 10. I loved the duel POV,; both narrators did a fantastic job with the audiobook. The dialogue is witty and heartfelt.
Plot-10
I haven't noticed the tropes in the romances I read until recently. I loved the plot of this small town-second chance Romance, and I want to find more like it. The story was perfect because we saw how the characters were feeling and how the two of them grew throughout the story. I loved the small and big moments of their love story.
Intrigue-9
I was interested in the story. Because of spoiler reasons, I don't want to say why I docked a number for the intrigue of this story.
Logic-10
This was a logical story. The characters communicate most of their feelings and reasons for their actions. All the plot beats in this story made sense to me.
Enjoyment-10
I loved this story. I loved the characters, the plot, the writing, the setting, the cats, and how everything worked so well for me. If you like small town romances, check out this story.

I am a little disappointed. It was not as much of a page turner as the first one. I do not think I like this trope, it was my first time with it and I am not a fan. Also the miscommunication was soooo eavy! When one of the caracther even says it, you've gone too far
Loved some of it but not much.
This book brings us back to the small town of Inglewild, which reminds me a lot of Stars-Hollow, now to see the story of Beck and Evie unfold.
This was a beautifully written, sweet, tender, and comforting story. The characters were likeable and despite the bits of miscommunication, I was absolutely charmed by this romance.
